This is an almost 30" deep drawer under the bed. It's 15" high x 25" wide. It seems flippin' HUGE!! Another brownie point with DW.....
While I was in there doing this drawer, I ended up rebuilding a lot of the bed structure because it was so out of plumb and level. 'Nuther arghh. The horizontal plywood for the mattress was really warped because of this. Not helping was the 3 crappy hinges used by the factory to hinge the plywood. I ended up reinforcing things where the plywood attaches to thewall and I used a piano hinge across the full width. Now we dance or whatever on the bed and it won't fall apart.
Oh, and I also moved the plywood an inch towards the foot of the bed, so now there is a lip to grab onto when lifting the mattress up to get into the storage compartment.
