This is an upper cabinet above the dinette. Not sure what the factory intended it to be used for exactly. It originally had a fixed black panel on either side of the loriginal wide door in the photo. Things you put up in there disappeared off the right and left never to be seen again.
I relocated a door mullion and made a new compartment complete with new door to match. I also put in a shelf on the long side. Now CDs fit on the left and DVDs on the right. Way cool upgrade!
