This is the new vinyl laminate flooring that I installed. It's interlocking and only about 1/8" thick. It was very easy to install and it's 100% waterproof. It's made by Aquaproof. I made up 3/8" thick oak baseboard and ripped it to 1 1/8" high. Stained and finished it to matched the existing finishes. For wall-papered walls, I used prime painted pine, again 3/8" thick and painted it a coordinating shade of biege. This project was DW's no. 1 priority. Many brownie points involved here.
