I have to stop posting momentarily. Need to go make fresh homemade biscuits for my wife before she wakes up.

It doesn't matter how bacon is cooked, it's always good.

We cook it that way too, in a foil tray on our Weber Q100. Over direct heat- not much choice with a single burner BBQ.

Now that y'all are learning how to best cook bacon, do yourself a favor and get some REAL bacon. We cure and smoke our own pork bellies. Once you go home made, you will never buy that chemicalized store stuff again.

Two years ago, camping in MT in a very primitive campground, the guy about a half mile from me decided to cook breakfast outside at 5:00 AM and it was eggs and bacon.

The screaming, the language that suddenly came from his campsite was very disturbing.

Talking with someone else a few hours later, seems that he had a furry visitor looking for a free handout of bacon.

Moral of the story is, don't cook bacon outside in the early morning when the area is posted with dozens of signs stating this area has bears and there is fresh bear scat everywhere.
