Many many times have I cooked bacon on the grill. Usually when I'm cooking burgers. I don't bother with a pan or griddle, I just slap it down on the grill and keep an eye on it. Works great if you remember to go ACROSS the grill and not in line.

A friend of mine uses a reusable, heatproof grill mat. The package had 2 in it so he gave me one. He soaks up bacon grease with a paper towel. Like these.

Just crusing.

Bacon aka Breakfast Brocolli.

Lots of different ways to prepare. Low and slow in the smoker, microwave when in a hurry, toaster oven, Weber gas grill, Green MountainvGrills Davy Crockett. I bet you know what i am having for breakfast.

We pre cook thick-center cut bacon about 90% at home in the oven covered with parchment before departure. Keep it in a ziplock bag and reheat on the grill in Aluminum foil. No grease and no mess.

I've just started using a grilling mat because marinades and drips of grease and stuff plug up my Weber Q burner tube holes.
