BBB's Baked Bean Blast

BBB's Baked Bean Blast
(cooked at many a camping rally!)

One small package of summer sausage (1 lb)
Four tablespoons of butter
Four teaspoons of dry mustard
Three teaspoons of allspice
One teaspoon of pepper
Two 28oz cans of baked beans (B&M Brick Oven Baked Beans)
One cup ketchup
Half cup brown sugar

Mix in crock pot and cook on high for five hours or cook on low for seven hours

Instead of summer sausage you can use hotdogs if the summer sausage makes the beans too spicy for you. For more spicy flavor, add polish sausage in place of the summer sausage.

Well the beans, but I'm always reminded of that scene from Blazing Saddles.
