For you Captain Morgan fans out there I came across the Costco Spiced Rum and gave it a try. 1.75 liter for $15. It isn't exactly like the Captain or Sailor Jerry but it's not bad at all.

Not so much a 'cocktail' but something for over the fire:

Lightly roasted warm marshmallow - dipped in Baileys. It's messy, but good

Oh mah gosh, that sounds fun! What about Godiva chocolate liqueur? You might have the ultimate cocktail fondue concept there!

A thin slice of orange, with peel, muddled with 1 teas sugar and 4-5 drops of angostura bitters, then one ounce spring water, one and a half to two ounces your favorite bourbon, and about four cubes of ice. Garnish with a maraschino cherry if desired. My dh's fav.

17 pages, really?

Let move on to 18.

Whiskey sour - easy, pleazly and not too sweet

2 oz - Water
6 oz - Candaian Mist (or)
3 oz - Lemon juice
3 oz - Simple syrup

Served over ice it will fill two tervis mugs, add a cherry to each. We have a ritual eating of the fruit at the end of the evening (thats how we know what our limit was that night). we added the water just to keep the liquor down to 3 oz a drink..

Best served with, well we will let you know when we find something it doesn't fit...

Some quality home made sangria - store bought works if you embellish. A good bottle of Muscato wine - Seven Daughters is great. Don't forget the cheese and fruit plate, please.
