I used to do the beer but after a good dinner and being full beer just never goes down so good sometimes. This year I will be taking Pendleton along with some 7up. A couple of those and all will be good and no more feeling like a blow fish.

For those nights that it gets a little chilly out try this one, crock pot filled and warming with part apple juice, part apple cider, and part Everclear. We simply call this home made apple pie! FYI, don't drink too many of these sitting down and then stand up.....bad news. If you want a little twist, you can keep the Everclear out and then mix in either whipped cream vodka or choose to set sail with Captain Morgan (my personal fave next to the Everclear) on a cup by cup basis.

Just can't beat sharing a Long Island Ice Tea with your friends so here's a how to make a pitcher the greatest LI you'll ever taste (or at least I've been told this by many smiling faces).

1/3 C Vodka (brand does not matter but stay away from the cheap stuff)
1/3 C Gin (again, brand not important)
1/3 C Rum ( Barcardi light rum.)
1/3 C Tequila (white tequila is best but get something decent).
1/3 C Tipple Sec (any brand but stay away from the stuff in the plastic bottle.).
1-2/3 C Finest Call sweet & sour mix. (You can get this at Sams. This mix really makes a difference.)

Fill a glass with ice, put in mixture to about 2/3rds full, top with diet Pepsi until you achieve the tea color, squeeze in a slice of lemon and ring the glass with it. Enjoy and get ready to mix the next batch.
