This one takes about a week to prepare.
Take a bottle of homemade fruit wine, pour it into a 1 litre sodastream bottle add a handful of fresh cherries or berries then add CO2 and let sit for a week or so. Serve ice cold with Vodka.

Speedcat, I'm coming to visit your "Kentucky Bourbon Trail".
I have tried Blanton's and really enjoyed it.
Currently working on a bottle of Aberlour (scotch)... a very nice christmas gift.
Johnleann.... Stay thirsty, my friends !

Pappa,

I hope you enjoy. Which distilleries are you visiting? My favorite is Buffalo Trace in Frankfort. They distill your namesake, Pappy Van Winkle. Super premium but hard to find. Will you make a RV trip of it?

Speedcat, we are in the planning stages. DW is a "wino", so it will be put on the schedule around a winery tour.

Pappa, Three wineries in the Lexington area. Talon, Jean Farris and Chrisman Mill. I reccomend the Ky Horse Park campground if you make a RV trip of it. Central location for Bourbon Trail and wineries. PM if you make plans and we can share a sip or two of Bourbon around fire.

Johnnie Walker (Black Label) with Rixio ice maker. Can get round or square cubes depending on which model you order.

Other drinks are enjoyed in the glasses and guests like the different ice cube.

I had bariatric surgery one year ago and can no longer drink beer. I've come up with a simple mix to meet my needs. One shot of 1800 Tequila in 8 ounces of water, mix in a small packet of Crystal light lemonade powder and ice. I mix this into a reusable container that resembles an energy drink and can come and go unnoticed. Having one as I write this!

Some good recipes on here. ive written down a few of them. Thanks gang. Speaking of mason jars, i found this one a few months ago and its the wifes favorite now.

Hippie Juice(dunno why its called that)

1 Cup Watermelon Vodka
1/3 Cup Triple Sec
1/3 Coconut Malibu Rum
4 scoops pink lemonade mix
little water
some strawberries

Mix in a quart mason jar and store in the fridge before you head out. Bam ready made tasty drink thats deceptively potent, lol.

G&T

We do gin-and-tonic, though with the teensy ice-cube tray we have, we have to either wait for the next one or smash up some bag ice. Sometimes we put cranberry juice in them. Mostly it's beer or single-malt whisky.

At least you didn't take the rum.
