I wasn't a big Dr. Pepper fan until I had it with JD. It's really good!

Too bad the price of JD has gone through the roof the last couple years...otherwise I'd probably be drinking that instead of Jim Beam

The KnobCreek line is very good and I particularly like the smoke maple.
Gives pancakes a whole new meaning. What a way to start your day.

I see breakfast in Goshen taking on a whole new twist!

Every once in a while (at this present moment), I get on a "Kicken Chicken"(Wild Turkey) kick. For some reason I crave the taste of it for a bottle or two, then I move on for another year.

Thanks - I'm not a hard liquor drinker so I'm curious when I saw the ads for JD with Honey, another brand that's "whiskey started - maple finished" etc.

I'm thinking it's a new twist with these flavored varieties and I got to admit they do sound good - maybe I'll pick up a bottle of one of them soon.

Tall insulated glass, double shot of tequila, lots of ice, top off with 7-Up, stirred not shaken. For a more tart taste use half 7-Up and half Margarita mix. Go down real good on a hot summer day or night sometimes both.

The DW and I tried limoncello for the first time when we went to Italy in 2010 and we both loved it.
I started a batch today using the provided recipe link. Fingers crossed that it turns out good.

Iowa: Not as bad as you picture it.

Don't bother with the JB Honey.

The Maple is "too mapley"; but the smoked maple is just right.
Back to Gentleman Jack as my primary shot of choice.
Can't wait to try some of OC's Limoncello.

Should have a very nice blended Pacific Rim white wine in time for Goshen.

OK thanks - I think I'll stick with beer.
