Too bad the price of JD has gone through the roof the last couple years...otherwise I'd probably be drinking that instead of Jim Beam

I hear you...beam black is my go to now and is still cheaper than jack. Favorite all times of the year with ginger ale and a twist of lime.

1oz Jack Dan's
1oz Cake Vodka
2oz Apple Juice
teaspoon of maple syrup...

and you shake it all around (in ice of course)...that's what's all about

Very refreshin' and to the point..Can add more apple juice if too strong

One of my favourite summertime drinks. Beergaritas.
Another one is 2 oz vodka over ice then fill the glass almost full with sparkling lemonade and a splash of Pepsi.
One more. 1 oz vodka, 2 oz raspberry Sourpuss, 4 oz 5 alive and 2 oz Mountain Dew over ice.

Jigger

A jigger, shaped like an small hourglass, is a measuring device used in mixing alcoholic drinks. There are exactly 1.5 ounces (approximately 43 ml) in a jigger.

After weighing my rig before Goshen last year, I put my bar on a diet.
I have been saving my empty plastic sugar-free Hazelnut coffee sweetener bottles and have been transferring my booze from glass to plastic. This will work up to 90 proof. After that (bummer); glass only.

That's some shopping list....Better stocked than my bar at home...That would last a lot longer than a week or two for us....except the gin, that would be gone in a week

Tumbler size shot glass and a bottle of JD, sometimes the glass gets in the way.

Light rum and Margarita mix are in plastic. But truthfully, bottles should be emptied before we drive back.
