Easy Taco Salad

Had some of this at our CGs community picnic. It was a hit.
Sorry, didn't take a pic.

Easy Taco Salad

Lettuce and Greens
Green Onion
Cherry Tomatoes cut in half
Cucumber chunks (small)
Shredded Cheese
Taco Seasoned Meat
Kidney Beans

Toss and Add Crumbled Nacho Cheese Doritos just before serving. Top with salad drsg. They used Catalina, but I think SW Ranch would be good too.

Sounds good, going to have to try it. Thanks for sharing. I agree, Ranch would taste better but I think I'll add some shredded chedder too.

Have you ever heard of Taco in a bag? Basically you take all the ingredients you would use in a taco I.E beef, lettuce, tomato, salsa and mix it in a small bag of Doritos. Kids love it, you get to eat it with a fork, and there's no mess like a regular taco.

That sounds really good. Thanks for the tip. I love meals in a bowl, one pot, or bag.

Replace the Doritos with regular old Frito corn chips sometime. We have made taco salad with the Frito's for years, I think you will be surprised how good it is.
