Ed-
You are very close!!....
Here is my take on ABT's
Jalapeno halved and seeded…. The Filling consists of Cream cheese, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Pulled pork. Wrap that with a slice of thick bacon. Season with your favorite BBQ rib rub. Grill over medium indirect heat for 10-12 minutes move to direct heat for a few turning a few times to crisp the bacon. The end of the deal is a bit of Blues Hog Tennessee Red BBQ sauce over the heat so that it caramelizes the sugars and enjoy!

Ah, jalapeno's! They just looked big to be a jalapeno. But I see it now (trick of the camera/picture). Very close to what we call Armadillo Eggs here in Texas.

A Floridian enjoy good food in Rockland, ME
When in Maine, always enjoy a good lobster or two. Make sure you have plenty of butter and a large pot for anything from crabs to lobsters.

Another filler is cheddar cheese ( I'm not a big cream cheese lover) and instead of pulled pork, use the little smokie sausages you can buy in packs, wrap in bacon and grill or smoke!!!!
