Turbs.... Let us know how it works. Sounds interesting. Will it hold a large pork butt?

Just saw a major fail with a Rec Tec this past weekend. The drain to the bucket clogged and when a package new potatoes with butter wrapped in foil broke open, fire... My buddy screamed about having already replacing the shields inside due to warping.... It did warp before my eyes before it was put out.

I am not sold on the "Oven" yet, my "cranky" knee jerk comment.

I am willing to admit my jury is still out on a pellet smoker. When I looked last weekend GMG had a sale that put them in the $350+ range.

Tempted... I likey but not ready to buyie.

So, I am on the fence as I continue to read... Keep posting experiences.

I have to update my post!

Made Pork Roast in the Green Mountain on Sunday!! Both my smokers have different uses. I can hold 8 racks of ribs in the Bradley for family and the GMG is great for traveling with the RV.

Have had the Boone for about 4 years and the Crockett for 2. Use the Crockett in the motorhome. One of the biggest must haves (according to the Supreme Commander) in our new motorhome was enough outside storage for the pellet grill.

Have made everything in the pellet grills from good ol hamburgers and steak to muffin pan chicken (now that's a new approach and lots of fun). Made a meatloaf, do all kinds of veggies and fruit (bananas and apples our favorites). Even did a blueberry cobbler. Everything has been very (!) good.

I grill 3 or 4 times a week and would buy another pellet grill in a minute. Only type of grill I would currently consider.
