This is how I burn 4000 calories in less than 15 minutes. Great for diets.

We used and recommended a pizza stone for years.
Then we got an AIR-BAKE COOKIE SHEET from the dollar store.
Use a light color pizza pan or cake pan or biscuit pan on top of the air-bake sheet and you won't burn the bottoms any more.
You can cook at the temp it says on the box or package.

AND the air-bake sheet is super light AND it won't break if you drop it!

Happy Trails!
Thank for the tip. I have a rectangular pizza stone, but it broke with the heat the first time we used it. I have left the large pieces in the oven and it works just o.k. When making sliders I crumple up some aluminum foil and put that on my pan, under the sliders. That helps a lot, but I will try the air-bake cookie sheet.

Standard oven??
You need to measure yours.
Rita said she probably got it at Meijer.
I mistakenly said the dollar store.

I just measured the airbake sheet we've been using for the last several years.

12 x 14 bright aluminum not the darker
non stick kind.
Here's a link to Ebay. They aren't cheap-at about $21 but it works so well.

Happy camping and no burn baking!

Here's an even better deal at Wal_mart.
It's a two pack.
One large for home use and one 12 x 14 for the RV.
Free shipping to your local Wal-mart.
Rita uses these exclusively at home and on the road. No more dark bottoms on the cookies!

I remembered this post today when I saw one of these for $20. I'm looking forward to trying it - thanks for the tips.

We still love our Pizzazz, but seriously considering the top pizza oven from Camp Chef. Just shy of $300, but we would use it at home too. The bottom oven sits on top of the 16” Camp Chef stoves. We have the Big Gas Grill, but is terribly inconvenient when it’s just the two of us.

I haven't tried their pizza oven, but beware that their BBQ box and Griddle both took me a while to figure out how to get them to have even heat. Heat them up too fast/too high and you'll burn stuff. Low and slow is the name of game with Camp Chef stuff I've found.

Yep! We’ve had the BGG for 4, maybe 5 years, including the full-sized griddle. Had our share of oops, but even more picture perfect meals. I think we’ve used the BBQ box 5 or 6 times. Always have a water bottle ready for flare-ups.

You need to get an actual thermometer that goes in the oven or measures the "actual" oven temp. We use a couple of things - air bake pans and pizza pans with holes in them. We had a stone, was just too messy, and it broke.

This.

If you have an Ollies nearby they have the 3 sheet Air Bake set for $9.99 everyday in our store.
