If you don't have a Dutch Oven.....Get one!

......Hello all!!!!!
First off I carry 2 Dutch Ovens with me on every camp and use them more then my Webber Grill. This past week we were at the Darlington NASCAR Race with 5 others, and we ate like kings. I used my ovens to make fresh baked Corn muffins, CinnObuns, Baked beans and a mess of Ham and sculpted potatoes. I also baked a French Vanilla 2 layer cake for one of my bud’s birthday. For us campers that love their backed goods a well seasoned Lodge 12” and a 12” high side are a must have. Take some time to look at the many Web sites on Dutch oven cooking!. Happy camping!

Man thAt is one he'll of a outside kitchen you have setup there. I do have a Dutch oven. I let DH do all the cooking with it. I cook enough at home. We have done chicken pot pie and some cobblers. If you have some recipes please do share... I will pass them on to DH

we LOVE our cast iron and use it both while camping and at home. I gave up most other pots & pans!

Wife says I have issues…..That I camp to heavy but I think if you’re going to be out for some time ….Bring it, do it, enjoy it and this is my way of doing it. Takes time but all enjoy sitting in camp and the comment from other campers is priceless. With all this equipment you need a way to get it there. This is how I do it.
