Instant Pot

Does anyone have an Instant Pot? What kinds of things do you cook in it?

I have an electric pressure cooker - not instant pot brand. It is on my Christmas list this year. I also have my old stove top pressure cooker in the RV. Never used either while camping but at home I cook almost anything in it. Chili, soups, stews, whole chickens, frozen chicken breasts, almost anything. Just needs to have some liquid (water, broth, condensed soups).

Instant Pot has some recipes online and you can search on Pinterest for recipes.

Theyíre awesome.

Yep- we have two of them, actually. We started with one and being a great husband- bought my wife an extra pot liner for her birthday or Christmas or some such gift giving holiday. Prime Day or Black Friday rolled around and there was a deal on them, so we got a second one.

We cook:
- Pork carnitas
- Rice (all kinds)
- Spaghetti (since my stove won't boil a big pot of water)
- Spaghetti sauce (separate pot since my wife can't each much red sauce)
- Vegetables of all shapes and sizes
- Chicken dump recipes (usually a couple of boneless/skinless chicken breasts with some kind of dressing and a variety of spices)
- Limoncello
- Meatloaf

I'm sure there's more. My wife is on a huge Instant Pot group on Facebook and gets ideas/recipes from there.

Typically if you can crockpot it, you can Instant Pot it in way less time.

Baby Back Ribs

I make lots of different meals in my instant pot, especially roasts with all the veggies. My favorite, though, is ribs. Easy, quick, and super tender.

6 qt vs 3 qt. Is the 3 qt large enough for just 2 people given the limited storage space in our trailers?

Cheese grits and Grillards, spelling likely wrong.

3 ministers on grits. All day on the pork steaks. Unreal. Love the pot.
