Our menu last night consisted of these and cauliflower and broccoli.
Medium rare and they were perfect!

That sounds so much better!
Well, except for the jalapeño part... I'm kind of a sissy.

When you scrape out the inside of the jalapeno and smoke it or cook it they get sweet it has very little heat

While your scraping out the seeds, don't forget to put the ones you cleaned out into a bowl of water, this also takes some of the heat away from the Jalapeños, the membrane also has heat, you can also cut them out.
My version is similar to this recipe, I mix cream cheese with half a package bacon chopped up and sauté. Then fill it on a jalapeño cut lengthwise. The other half I cut into small strips and use it top cover for poppers then either throw it into oven or BBQ grill

Since I stayed home all day today and played in the water in my basement I decided it would be a great treat for Amy to come home to tonight!
Freshly cut beef chuck roast.
