We use a 12 cup percolator plugged into a timer....nothing like wakening up to the aroma of brewing coffee. With a warm bathrm (elec heater) to get dressed in and a cup of hot Joe, sitting outside and watching the sun rise is the best!!!

I have a Coleman auto drip that you set over a gas burner.
Makes great coffee when dry camping!

Have to go along with the Keurig crowd. Have one in the Creek and it gets up with us so we have that early cup o joe. Dr tells me to eliminate the caffeine to help with the hearing problems so Keurig will now supply me a good tasting caffeine free K-cup I hope. If not . . . there is always an alternative - wine!

My "gold standard" - green beans recommended for dark roast from Sweet Maria's, roast the beans dark in a modified air popcorn popper, let outgas for 24 to 48 hours after roast, Mini Mazzer burr grinder, Elektra Microcasa a Leva lever action espresso machine. Dilute with hot water for "cafe Americano". Great coffee, but not practical for camping.
For camping, I've tried a small drip machine (leave top open and use like a Melita when without hookups), a French Press, a MyJo K-cup machine, and an Aerobie AeroPress. My goals - ease of use both with and without electric hookups, ease of cleanup (no need to rinse grounds out - minimize grounds down the drain), easy availability of supplies, and best coffee. Conclusions:
Drip Machine (used as a Melita without electric) - easy to use both with and without electric, easy cleanup, uses regular coffee and easily available filters, coffee "just okay".
French Press - easy brewing both with and without electric, cleanup is an issue - either dump grounds with rinse water into a bush or a jug to avoid grounds in the drain, uses regular coffee, best coffee of the four tested.
MyJo "K" cup - easy brewing both with and without electric, easy cleanup if using K-cups, can use regular ground coffee but cleanup becomes similar to French Press - therefore "requires" special K-cups, coffee is better than drip but not as good as French Press or AeroPress.
AeroPress - easy brewing both with and without electric, cleanup almost as easy as K-cup (slug of grounds pops out into trash, but leaves a layer of grounds on the press - found I can easily scrape that layer off into the garbage with the edge of the supplied stirrer), uses regular ground coffee, requires special filters from Aerobie, coffee is almost as good as French Press.
Without electric I heat the water in a small pot on the stove; with electric in the microwave.
For us, the Aerobie AeroPress is the "winner". Depends, of course, on your personal weighting of the factors important to you. Best coffee - I vote French Press. Easiest cleanup - I vote MyJo (home type Keurig uses too much electric for no hookups).

@toslow: Sorry, not sure what you meant. Are you an RV forum member who is on vacation in Hawaii, or did you actually "take" your RV over there? We are all jealous, no matter what the response!

I thought he meant he prefers Kona coffee from Hawaii. I've tried some before and it's not bad, but too oily for me for everyday.

Wow...this is a popular thread! When we switched from a Bounder 32H to a Georgetown 335DS, we switched our coffee habit as well. Since the 335 has a residential reefer we need A/C or run the generator every morning to recharge the house batteries. On the Bounder we used a cheap SS percolator from Walmart since we had propane refrigeration. When we looked for a coffee pot for the 335 we looked at drip makers and such. All were really big and bulky and we didn't want them on the counter. We drink a lot of coffee and my wife convinced me to buy a Hamilton Beach Single serve maker that works with travel mugs. It was small and fits nicely in available storage.
What I wasn't prepared for is how well it works and how easy it is to use. No K cups, simple and clean. Liked it so much we bought one for the house and retired our drip maker. Then bought a 3rd for our cottage. Any coffee...nothing to clean.
