Apparently we're both among those people without a clue this wonderful person mentioned, who are adding to their landfill problem, as I love my K Cups.
And will continue using them till they are outlawed. So my conscience is clear.

But hey, I do recycle.

# 7 plastic cannot be recycled in the US, I wish it was a mandate. Most of you are too young to remember when glass coke bottles had a deposit. That paid my way to the movies once and a while.

There are groups that are spending great amounts of money to ........

KILL THE K CUP!

Unfortunately the K-cups does fill up land fills, they won't break down easily, they are bad for the environment, great coffee

We brew a cup in the Keurig to have while the percolator is making the real coffee!

Coffee

We use a Presto Electric Coffee Pot.Our friends had one and we were impressed by how hot the coffee was.It takes one minute per cup so quite fast as we usually make 6 cups(6 minutes) I set it up the night before so we must have to plug it in.We use one at home now too and our kids like it as well( even one who is a bit of a coffee snob!)

Just got home from work and saw this thread, way too late to read all 40 or so pages ~ but I absolutely love my coffee and have to post. Here at home, I have a BUNN electric drip coffee maker which maintains water in a stainless heating unit 24/7. This means, when you add the cold water, it's making coffee by the time you finish pouring in the cold H2O ~ the coffee is about 192*F (perfect if you want grounds from DD) but I really enjoy Chocked Full of Nuts (must be the chicory). The Keurig is a waste and is collecting dust, period. In the toy hauler, we have an electric drip which takes forever, but not purchasing another BUNN just yet. On the weekends, we grind and brew 8 O'clock beans on the stove, usually carry a few ground beans when we go camping to brew outside (after the first pot or so while still waking up). As I said, I love my coffee so much I can just about tell you the brand, regular or decaf, brewed - dripped or instant, drink it 24/7,think that's because of so many yrs. in the Navy. Thought I was in heaven while in Italy for 3 yrs. and drank their coffee. Happy camping everyone, leaves are changing up this way and camp grounds will be closing soon for the white stuff.
