What's a muscadine and I thought that was used for wine?

MUSCADINE is a wild grape with a thicker skin ,you can make wine but they have femneted with grains to do a moonshine that is outstanding.

Fair enough. Will try it. Likely the most useful thread on the forum.

Apple Pie and Lemoncello are my 2 favorites.

I don’t know if they’re considered ‘shine since they’re made with Everclear. But both require cooking it.

I used to use Everclear to clean the electrical contact surfaces of the puck style SCR's. Between the pucks, my 3 co-workers, supervisor, and me, a bottle didn't last long.

Actually don’t waste the liquor. If you need to clean something mix up a batch of cherry cool aid without the sugar and about half the water. On the submarine they used it so soak brass pump impellers in when they needed cleaned if all the sea water crusties. Let it soak for a while, drink the everclear while waiting, and everything just falls right off.

Has to be cherry though since according to the chemists it had the lowest ph. Cool and scary at the same time.

Actually, all I did was dampen a lint free rag with the everclear. Didn't know what to do with the remaining to keep it from evaporating. Never thought to keep the cap and put it back on the bottle. So, we

That’s funny. That’s how I feel when people make it with vodka. It’s not as good!

I'v had Apple pie made from real shine and the Everclear stuff. There is a difference. Spending the night near Athens TN tonight, I'll bet there is some good stuff around here somewhere. The ladies really like the stuff. I think it was really made to pass around the campfire.

Agree with it being made to share around a campfire.
