Did you remove the regulator on the Coleman Roadtrip?
Did you turn the quick connect connection lever in the correct direction to allow gas flow?

Lol Scrapper. Yeah, two regulators will not play well, and the trailer quick disconnect line is already coming off the regulator at the tanks. It is the reason I gave up on using the quick disconnect, I did not want to modify my appliances for trailer use only.

Not only will you need the hose but you are going to have to get the adapter to eliminate the regulator on the grill since the quick connect is already regulated by the R/Vs regulator to make the system low pressure.

Here is one link to the adapter.

There are MANY threads on this subject here on this forum and a Google search will bring up several videos on how to do it as well.
**HERE** is one such Google search.

I did this. You can also buy a hose for direct to quick connect.

you can also unscrew the existing adapter from the existing regulator. buy a quick disconnect and split it into the two pieces. put the male piece on the adapter and the female on the regulator. now you can screw the adapter into the grill and connect to either the female end of an lp extension hose from the rv or from the original regulator using the green bottles.
