Mother's favorite sandwich "hammies"

Here's another family favorite from my mom's archives!

Altho there are many variations of this my mom did it this way.

These are very fast to make while camping or for snacks and the kids love them!

Hammies!

Package of kings Hawaiian rolls, we use the Hawaiian mini subs.

Sliced ham of your choice.

Small container of onion and chive cream cheese spread.

Package of sliced swiss cheese, we sometimes use pepper jack to spice it up.

Half a stick of real butter melted

Dried onions

Preheat oven to 350

Cut apart subs putting the bottom on a greased cookie sheet.

Add ham and cheese to the bottom half.

Spread the onion and chive cream cheese mixture on the top half and put on the ready built bottom.

Mix some dried onions with the already melted butter and brush all over the tops of the "hammies"

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until top just starts to brown .

Remove from oven and enjoy!

Any diner roll will work for this recipe.

Be careful these are HIGHLY addictive!
