My dear mothers famous stew.

As many of you know, my dear mother passed on a little over a month ago whom was a wonderful cook!

she gave me all her top secret recipes that I'd love to share!

My dears mothers world famous beef stew.

NJ ' S WF stew.

2 lbs of stew meat.
2 12 oz cans of beef broth.
4 potatoes diced
1 onion.
1/2 bag of baby carrots.
3 to 4 stalks of celery.
5 heaping tablespoons of tapioca.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mrs dash Chipotle Southwest seasoning
Mix well

Bake in a roaster @ 250 for 5 hours

Do NOT sneak a peek while cooking!

That's so sweet for you to share that part of her with everyone and allow her to live on at the campgrounds through her dishes. Hmm... tapioca pudding. Who would've thought?

One quick thing.
As someone asked.

Do not make tapioca pudding and put it in stew!
Just the tapioca out of the box!

Ron,

Thanks for sharing your mom's recipe! Tapioca pudding? I would have never....can't wait to try it!

Said goodbye to my mom 30+ years ago, so I share your loss. What's nice as time goes by is the hurt goes away and only fond memories remain.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours my friend!
