Talking Old Fashioned Lime Sour

Well, here in Atlanta it's 97 deg on Radio's back porch, and that's in the shade with the fan running! Not to mention the ozone code red and the high pressure system that's just about to sufficate us all.

Time for Radio's Old Fashioned Lime Sour
Just like the ones they used to make at the drug store soda fountain. Do you remember those?

Use a large glass, about 16 to 20 oz or so.
All the juice from one large lime
Fill 2/3 with chilled club soda
Fill rest of the way with crushed ice
Salt to taste and stir well

Do not add sweetener of any kind! It is after all, a lime sour!

Enjoy!

A) that's Tara, not Tera
B) Not when it's over 90 deg. Only a lime sour will do.
C) One must have a basset hound named Beauregard in order to have the full mint juliep experience.

You like that porch...don't cha!

Recipe sounds tasty...even though it may be hard to give up one of my Corona limes to try it...

Smile Thanks for summer refresher

This sounds like the limeade that I found refreshing in hot Kansas summers! Thanks for the recipe.
