Propane connection

I really don't know if this fits here so please forgive me if I posted wrong. I have a 2018 FR Sonoma TT. There is a propane line directly from the front tanks to the rear of the trailer for attachment of BBQ'S or whatever. We got a Coleman Roadtrip and were testing it out. The gas is coming out but maybe not enough pressure because the grill wont ignite. We tested it hooking directly to the front tank and also to a small bottle and all good.
Is there a trick to this?

Our 2019 Sonoma takes a type/size 250 quick connect fitting. Make sure you have the correct male end.

Our 3 burner Outdoor Chef stove works well from the quick connect.

That may already be regulated gas and if the grill has a built in regulator, it won't work. There may be a subtitle on here that talks about it.

Yes it is regulated gas.
You must use a hose without regulator.
You can find the at camping stores.
I had ours made up at the local propane dealer 15 feet long.

That is the problem your gas flow is being double regulated.
You just need to get a hose to use for the grill only without a regulator.

That's the problem . the gas is all ready lowered pressure from TT regulator so add on the regulator with the grill and no lite .

Isn't that line that runs to the rear already on the low pressure side of the unit regulator. I may be wrong, but that's what I read on here, because I read of others removing the regulator that's on the grill. But not all units are the same. Just a thought.

Yes, and you will have to remove the knurled grill connection from your regulator and configure it this way. (Make sure that you reinstall the check valve in the knurled connection)
