8 lb pork butt going on at 225. Should be great for supper tonight!

Going to do two small root beer butt chickens with it later on. More pics to follow.

Do share. Live perfecting it. Since getting the pellet smoker, over never had much of anything turn out bad. We're in there middle of a 12 day trip at the moment, and breaking in our new GMG Davey Crocket. It'll fit nicely in front of, or behind, my hitch in the truck

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sea salt
1/4 cup paprika
2 heaping tablespoons of Onion Powder
2 heaping tablespoons of Garlic Powder
2 heaping tablespoons of Black Pepper
1 heaping tablespoons of Celery Salt
1 heaping tablespoon of Cayenne Pepper - this provides a kick, but not too hot
1 heaping teaspoon of Cumin

Very very good "imo"

I'll definitely try it out next time I cook. I found an off the shelf (I know, not a real smoker then...) Rub I like. Use it on ribs, butts, chicken, and whatever else I smoke. But it'd be great to make homemade.
