Still really cant wait!

Smokers up and running as you can see there's five sausage wraps in corn husks within an hour they should be done little bit of Mesquite cherry and Applewood

those look awesome..Does the corn husk add much flavor to the sausage or is it unskinned and just helps keeps things together?

Not sure first attempt my buddy is a pitmaster at Lockhart's BBQ and I told him if he can do it I can do it so there should give a little corn flavor the mix is simple

Hello Fivenikkels. All I can say is WOW!! I am a sausage lover from way back and is there anyway I can get the recipe for this BBQ? That sure looks like something that I would love to put in my. Blueox {druling}

Blue ox easy recipe other than the sausage I made it from scratch same as on tv other than I used venison with pork fat go to diners drive in and dives smoked sausage in corn husks pretty simple 6 oz. of meat wrap in husk and smoke at 250 ish 40 or 60 minutes take it to just under 165 don't forget carry over good luck and it is awesome I used cherry and a touch of mesquite
