I have one on mine, a 2014 Salem. I am able to cook for the 5 of us with no problem and is going on 2 years of use. It is covered on the back and I haven't had any debris in there yet. I don't expect to need to replace it soon. That said, it is cheaply made but works very well with the outdoor kitchen.

My last camper had a portable that was bumper mounted. It was an Aussie. Worked great

I've been thinkin' maybe just buy the $29 cheapo charcoal grill from Wallyart and throw it in the recycle trash bin at the end of the outing. New grill everytime and no mess to clean ;-). Just thinkin' you know.

They are only $20 at our walleye world. I bought one at the beginning of this year's camping season with the same thought, use it a few times and throw it away. It actually was made well enough we used it all summer and now I almost hate to trash it.
