Panini Bread Griddle

Bought one of those panini bread treflon fry pans (griddle) and use it for a lot of things, like making toast. The pan has those raised ridges or grid marks on the bottom that keep the bread from burning and make those toasty lines accross the slice. I make pancakes in it too and they look like a variation of a waffle when they are done. Grilled cheese, French Toast, Hamburger or Hot Dog Buns, and of course Panini sandwiches are great. But you can even make eggs or do anything you normally would with a regular frying pan. For ordinary toast, you can make four slices at once.

I love toast but not when camping...until now! Everything in my new TT is from our old pop up except for the new toaster .

No electric? If you were going to make grilled cheese, you'd butter the bread & put it in the skillet. You're wanting toast, but not grilled cheese then butter the bread, grill on one side, flip & grill the other side. Grilled toast!

In the frying pan like my grandparents used to when I was a kid. Even better if you "toast" your bread in the frying pan after you've cooked bacon.

Now that sounds tasty! But my arteries are clogging just thinking about it!
