3/31 through 4/2 @ Boonesborough State Park, Kentucky. Fingers crossed for weather. Close to home and full hookup to flush pink. Youngest will be in Costa Rica on spring break so a good trial run for when we "most time".

From time to time we've been known to bug out for 2-3 days to local state/national forests. We can take drinking water in a blue tote to make
coffee and brush teeth wash hands etc. If the night air might dip below freezing I have been known to dump wash water into a bucket and dump that into a vault toilet. That's rare but it's possible.

A balmy February weekend calls us out every so often. Nothing like a hike
in the southern Indiana woods or anywhere in Kentucky. You might hit a
forest camp ground and be nearly alone. Very peaceful!!

A sunny 50 deg day in the woods can be a lot of fun.

All I know is that next weekend we'll be doing a little bit of this and a little bit of this Fingers are crossed that the weather holds out. Then I'll also being doing this
Mystic KOA is our year after year Icebreaker. We always go for the DDs' spring break in April. Hit or miss on weather. Last year we had an 80 degree day and freezing rain overnight. Camper and car were coated in ice. Site are extremely narrow, but this early in the year are very plentiful. Also, most of the water and electric site have grey water hookups for free. So, no need in getting full hookups. I95 is real close (so a bit noisy) and being so early, very few activities. Camp Care weekend (AKA Mothers day) is a lot more crowded and have more activities.
