Your favourite campground
Had a great weekend at Graves Island Provincial park near Chester, Nova Scotia. Even during some thundershowers.

I agree! Nice pics! Lol! All these pics are not making my wait on our new fiver any easier! I guess it would depend on what time of year as for my favorite campground. Love the Missouri state parks! Bennett Springs is one of my all time favorite. We also like Mozingo lake in Maryville MO when it's not busy. Nothing special but a quant little lake.

Here is a campground we stumbled onto during our return trip to Panama City Florida. It is at Chicot State park in Louisiana. Not to far from Villa Platte. Very nice park about 15 minutes off I-49. We haven't seen the lake yet, this was just our get off the highway stop after driving 500 miles( bout to finish the last 500 miles today)

Hey boubou. Are you familiar with the huge difference between high and low tide in this part of the bay? It is unbelievably amazing.

Weve been there several years ago and was told to be careful if I was to "walk" to the islands and watch the tides. i may jot make it back. We toured the Glooscap trail, very beautiful. Ate deep fried clams. They did not agree with me :S . Looking foreward to the trip bay of funday waterfrtont view . We have cousins in Parsoborro

Fabulous pictures. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of the great places out there. We're stuck at home until my recovery is further along but it gives me inspiration to keep pushing on. Thanks I really needed to see something so beautiful. Charlie

We went to see the "Tidal Bore" and the surrounding area a few years ago. Just flew in didn't take the rv , would love to be able to roam around Cape Breton for a month!!!!!
That's what I'd like to do if I ever get to retire.

So far, we love Presqu'ile Provincial park. Trailsend Campground seems to be very nice so is highbluff. We stayed in the Pines which is complete shade and ok for keeping the dogs cool but messy on the awning and more mosquitoes. Need to get semi-shaded next time.
photo of rocky beach, there's also 3 beautiful sandy beaches, very long.
The water puddle in front of the facilities is caused partially by us.
We didn't see the water re-fill station (only saw the dump station) and we re-filled at this tap which had no thread and had to be kept open by hand. Took a long while to fill 50 gallons of water. when we dumped, we found the water re-fill but only 30 feet or so from the dump hole. There was a separate hose to clean the dump hose but still.... not keen on getting water from that spot. Next time, I'll fill up before we leave home.
