2011 Rockwood HW277 High Wall Pop Up

No one would believe this, but it is true. After looking for several months, my wife and I purchased a brand new 2011 Rockwood HW277 (High Wall) pop up camper. It is TOTALLY LOADED with every option available.

After we used it ONE weekend, my wife has discovered that camping is not for her and wants to sell it. I don't, but you know what they say, "if mama is not happy.....".

So, here it is: it is the Cadillac of pop up trailers, in my opinion, the best made period. Look it up on the Forest River website, it is beautiful. It is a new model for Forest River this year.

It has AC, Power lift and Power tongue (no cranking at all), slide-out dinette with U-shaped seating area, real wood Cherry cabinets, extra large 4.0 frig, oven, microwave, stove inside and spectacular outside kitchen that slides out from the side of the camper. Outside kitchen has sink, 2-burner stove, stainless steel gas grill and small table that all hangs on the side of the camper. It has a King bed on one end and Queen bed on the other, both with heated inter-spring mattresses. It has a very nice awning, an outside shower, electric water pump, water heater, furnace, AM-FM-CD player with inside and outside speakers, tv/satelite hookup and a hard wall shower and flushable toilet with door for privacy. It weighs only 2800 lbs. and can be pulled by a mini van or other 6 cyl. vehicle.

Like I said, it was used ONE weekend and we have had it for 30 days. It is kept indoor as well. I have clear title to it. It listed for about $23,000 and I am asking $15,750 OBO. Please call Greg at 407-230-8651 (Orlando, Florida)

Yes! That is exactly the same camper as I have. I don't know what options, if any, that one has but mine is loaded up.

just a question, would a hard-sided RV with more amenities, make a difference to the DW?

some may not like camping, but RV'ing in a RV with more "home"-like features, might be more appealing.
i've read about many people who didn't like the rustic canvas tent feel of a popup, but enjoyed the "cottage" feel of a TT or 5th wheel.

I was thinking the same thing, maybe you can try a rental trailer to see if it makes a difference.

Good luck with selling your trailer, hope you can keep camping somehow

Thank you, me too. I just need to find something she feels good in. Maybe one of the Rockwood A-Frame's.

Wow, that is one expensive trial run! If it were me, I'd try to convince her to try it again, but this time, rent a "hard side" TT with all the bells and whistles. Maybe you could trade up. Good luck!

For whoever is interested in my camper, I am willing to negotiate and take "best offer" (within reason!). Come on, someone out there in FROG territory must want this beautiful luxury camper!

Good news everyone! I sold it tonight to a very nice family who will get a lot of joy out of it. Thanks to everyone who tried to help me with it. Now, if I can just talk her into a hard sided TT.
