2013 Rockwood Roo 21SS Louisville KY
We have decided to sell our Roo 21SS and move on to a travel trailer. It's in great shape. Only issue is a plastic piece that connects to fender over slide has a crack. We are non-smokers and never cooked greasy foods inside. Also never used shower except for storage. I will include the shelf we put in there if you want it.
Extras include power tongue jack, awning over slide, sofa is model with air mattress so a human can use it, pass thru outlet, and oven. I added removable shelves for pantry, LED lights under awning, popup gizmos, reflectix for bunk windows, vent covers on both vents, wood cover over stove (metal cover is there too we just didn't want to set things on it), and netting on shelves over the bunks. I also put 1/4 turn valves on fresh water tank drain and low point drains to make it easier.
Asking $13900 with weight distribution hitch or $13500 without.

Pictures #4. Sorry for the rotation problems. Evidently the forum doesn't understand the way I took them.

My new camper should be in soon so thought I would give this a bump. Soon I'll have to just trade it in since I don't have storage for 2. It really is a great camper in great condition.

I can close the thread but it might be harmless to just let it remain. We like to keep classifieds ads intact when possible. Previous ads can be helpful to other members when they are creating an classified ad to post. Also sometimes members will return to search for an ad that they have seen. I can't say that this will be helpful to your situation but in time the ad will fall down on the list of active ads especially with this not being peak camping season.
BTW - congrats on your new camper!! Saturday will be here soon and you will be stocking the new camper and making it home.

Congrats on the new one.
You still have two days. I think I would drop my asking price and put it up on Ebay. Even if you only get 11K your still going to make money. I know what they are going to give you in trade in real numbers. If I could swing it I would keep the Roo and sell it later then refinance or whatever on the new one. I traded two and lost my ass, selling privately is the way to go. You are trying to sell at the worst time of year, it only gets better from here.
As an example I was offered 9K trade on a 2013 Keystone Passport HTT which I still owed about $8500 on. I listed it for $13500 and responses were slow. Ultimately I sold it for $11750 and even delivered it halfway to Little Rock from PA. Once I dropped the asking it went in a week. Coming out $3250 ahead was much better than $500. Then I threw the $3250 at the principal on the new one.

That's fine to leave it out there. I didn't know if you wanted to mark it as no longer available or something.
Only problem with dropping the price is I pretty much listed it low to start with because of the off season. Guess I should have started higher. I knew it would be a long shot to sell it outright. With the offer I have on trading it and the tax benefit, just not much lower to go and no time.
As for keeping it and selling it later, great idea but I don't have space to store it and don't really want to own 2. lol I have to use a facility as it is for storage. I know it would sell in the spring since it is in great shape.
Thanks for the advice though.

I also thought and knew my 2013 Keystone was worth way more, but the brutal reality of it was that on a dealers lot they were going to ask about $15,000 and let it go at $13,000 or less. They were going to go $9000 on the trade and my numbers on the new were rock bottom so a true comparison. They were the ones who had to carry it and that cost's money and a lot of it especially if it sits for awhile. I am half tempted to talk you down, buy it myself, and turn it in the spring.
It's always worth more to us for some reason
Good luck Saturday.

Here's my example: I got $10K trade-in for my 3 year old Roo 19, sight unseen, to order my $18.5K Mini Lite. This was at a February 2015 RV Show; same dealer I had bought it from. I had paid $15K 3 yrs earlier; I felt it was acceptable, especially since I wouldn't have to deal with selling it myself (my time & effort is worth something); and like you I had no place to put 2 of them if it didn't sell. The dealer subsequently asked $12K on his website. Of course, I don't know what it actually sold for, but it was only on their website for a month or so.
