Even though the OP is upgrading to a larger 5er, the Lacrosse 318 BHS is a very roomy 2-slide TT still under 8,000 empty. Our PT Tracer 3150 has nearly the same floor plan, we also bought it used, and have had 2 years of trouble-free camping. In comparison friends who bought new (various other RVs) spent their first year having warranty work done...
I know there are other models with the same floor plan, but the cheaper ones always leave something out. For instance, ours has 4 skylights so we have installed Deluxe MaxxAir fans in 2 and will install a 2nd A/C (& separate A/C line) over the master bed. In comparison, a non-Primetime unit I looked at recently has the same floor plan, but no skylight over the master, cheaper cabinets, no power stabilizers, etc. Also, folks are now claiming their new brown-colored RVs are fading, so I'm glad mine, like this one, is white! (Also stays cooler w/direct sunlight & why most small aircraft are all-white...)
My favorite feature is the outdoor kitchen... Now that I have one, I would never buy an RV without - allows me to make a quick meal when we first setup... I always get compliments of how nice the simulated stone countertop base looks. Also, my Tracer is nearly 5 years old now & still looks new... Again, Tracer/Lacrosse are very similar but the Lacrosse has a higher ceiling & extra pantry beside the fridge...
