I got my poles from Turbs yesterday they are the emt type power coated black. They arrived in good shape from USPS and look great. I'm going to install them when I get back form a 7 day trip and will post some pics. The poles from Turbs came power coated and the brackets from Oldcoot came sand blasted with a satin finish that I had power coated. Both poles and brackets are of quality workmanship.

Depends on how tall your awning is fully deployed and at its highest point.
Do you have a dometic awning?

TURBS -- can you please send me pricing?
We pick up our 5'r this weekend, so I am not sure of awning height just yet. Do you need to know this information to make these poles?
Do you coordinate with OC for the brackets as well? Or is that a separate transaction?

Are there pads on the ends of the pole where they would rest on the ground?

Yes the latest design has stainless steel pads approximately an
1 1/4" in diameter on the bottom pole.

Wouldn't that interfere with locking them against the camper?
By the way Turbs, your poles work too well. I was using them when it was really windy and i added some deflappers to stop the fabric from shaking. Yep, when I went to close it up I forgot to remove the flappers and bent my awning a little.
I can't believe I was able to leave my awning out in that breeze...they are awesome. I do not intend to ever use deflappers again though!

I don't leave my current poles on the camper. I use clevis pins to connect them to the brackets and store them in the forward compartment when not in use.
I am thinking hard about Turbs awning poles since my wife hates the look of the fiberglass painters poles.
Turbs, please PM me with the price for a set of black poles. Thanks!

You will love these so I say definitely order. A fellow camper stopped by last weekend and asked how I was able to order my camper with those awning poles from the factory. When I told them where I bought them he just couldn't get his mind around the fact that they weren't from the factory. They look so great.
