Do you tighten down the adjustment knobs on your awning arms or leave them loose?

I actually lock mine down. I tilt the awning for water run off. Have to try it with the knobs loose and see if it makes a difference. So far it has worked just fine. I use a Camco awning strap kit with the screw in ground tie points. In that picture the awning may be not be tilted, I was set up at the house trying them out.

He has always responded to me. Not sure what the comments about popcorn and fire are in reference to but I want to throw it out there that I do not have a problem with Ron or his customer service in any way. He never promised me any specific date and my camper is parked until Memorial day anyway so I'm far from getting antsy just yet. I'm just an impatient guy so I like to ask questions on occasion.
I'm actually pretty happy that as it seems I am getting one of the last powder coated sets. Looks like I got in at just the right time.

Ron does a great job and is very busy so be patient in a busy time. His quality is worth a little wait. Excellent fit and easy to install.

Price is actually going down after this round of kits go out, as my powder coater is retired and wants to do more traveling.
Pole kits including brackets and shipping will be $215.00

Don't you mean price increase? later RJD

Ron, your mailbox is full. I hope you are OK as I have not heard from you about the poles. I have still not gotten them. It has been 2weeks since you sent them. Please let me know what's up. If you cannot send them please return the $160 I paid you a month ago!
Thanks, Joe

Yikes..........Having done those types of weeks for years, and fully knowing you have to do what ya have to do, or in cases want to do, be careful with that. Working those kinds of hours can end you up in hospitals, don't ask me how I know.

Pm's have been replied to.
In box now empty.
Looks like fall or late summer before I start making and shipping again.
Pole kits are $215.00 shipped complete with mounting brackets and hardware, they will no longer be powder coated.

Price is in the above quote. Note that Turbs is no longer making the EMT poles. Because his powder coating contact quit doing the work, they will be un-coated unless he finds a new coater. FWIW, when I saw the post about no powder coating, I got curious and did a web search for the area I live in. Found a couple of firms doing the work. No idea on costs though - not that curious.

Too bad I live in Quebec, Canada
This solution is top of the line: You should have a generic color version sold by Forest River resellers. I'm sure you don't deliver in Canada (I would understand with all the paperwork involved).
