Turbs, is there a significant difference between the quality of steel vs aluminum poles other than
the $30.

Turns, one place we go as a wooden deck we park next to. Is there a way to fasten the poles to a wooden deck.

Imo they are similar in quality.
Steel sets weight about 3 lbs more.

If you can find a spot to attach your ratchet strap to yes.

The GTown awning poles worked great! In fact, I had to take down my flagpole, but left my awning up. Getting ready to box up and send back for slight adjustment and powder coat!

As a reminder these poles at this time only fit a Dometic or an Lci awning.
They will not fit a carefree awning at this time.
I am working with a customer to fit my poles on a carefree awning and will have a resolution soon.

Cost for the whole setup? Painted or powder coated? What kind of wind will the awning stand up to with the poles installed? We just got our '16 salem hemisphere last summer I loved the idea of the power awning but it doesn't take much wind and we are rolling it up we have been pretty disappointed.
