Member said he would have an issue with the emt oxidizing where he lives.
Oc's poles were running about 13 lbs compared to the emt just under 10 lbs

13# is shipping weight, my alum poles with brackets & hardware are 10#.

I think i will.
Problem is milan surplus is 40 minutes round trip from work not including time spent there, and I live 40 minutes the opposite direction of Milan surplus.
I'd have to make it worth my while to drive there after work and be able to get several sets worth of materials.
Probably have to have a 3 set minimum.

I just ran the awning out to test the poles and make sure nothing was binding. I never bothered to put the straps and corkscrews on since I was going to run it right back in. They do look good though and you're certainly welcome to use the pictures.

Lol, well I didn't think it would be cost effective and or a demand.
Check locally I bet you'll find a powder coater !
And the wait time maybe 2 weeks.
Food for thought when I'm "actually" making poles for stock and not directly shipping them out right off the assembly line.

Cost effective??? We are talking RV equipment. Right? I might contend there is nothing cost effective about an RV.
My guess is chrome plated ones would sell. ??

Thanks Turbs got poles today and installed looking good. I'll post pics later. I will be painting them later next week. I think it might have taken longer for you to make the shipping box vs. awning poles, nice work(on both)!

Finished up 4 more sets late last night.
Had ball games all week.
Headed out this afternoon for the weekend and will get more poles shipped out the first of the week.
More materials should be in Tuesday or Wednesday to start all over again.
