I have read a few threads where you mention they will work with the LCI (Lippert Components) Solera electric awnings with the motorized head and further mentioned the bracket may need to be bent to clear the head. Can you or another forum member confirm this by actual experience? I would like to order a powder coated set, but, if they need to be bent, I would rather order ready to paint. I would hate to damage the coating trying to bend them. I do have access to a local powder coater.
Lastly, what is the procedure for ordering? PayPal? Email?

My setup is finally complete, installed and used for the first time this past weekend. Thank you for the brackets OldCoot, those are what I needed to make this setup work, although, I went a different direction for the poles and light as a feather.

Here they are in a nutshell ...
After visiting Home Depot and feeling the weight of the "standard" steel EMT conduit, I bought the aluminum EMT at a local electrical supply shop .... much, much lighter in the aluminum and soooo much easier to drill. If you don't have a drill press available, definitly buy a simple one. Mine uses a any regular corded drill held in by in by a hose clamp that I bought years ago to drill bolts for safty wiring ... very inexpensive.
3/4" Aluminum EMT x 10' (actual 1.050")
1-1/4" Aluminum EMT x 10' (actual 1.660")
... cut each in half to make each set of poles. The cut end of the 3/4" bolted to OldCoot's bracket with "uxcell 8mmx33mm Hex Socket Cap Head Screw Bolt Sleeve Barrel Connector Nut" (basically, axles I ordered from Amazon) .... perfect fit. The cut end of the 1-1/4" go to the ground side.
The threaded end of the 3/4" received an aluminum threaded coupling that is inserted into the 1-1/4" ... keeps the 3/4" from moving around. The threaded end of the 1-1/4" received an aluminum threaded coupling with an 1-1/4" MPT x 3/4" FPT Banjo reducer bushing (made of polypropylene). I drilled out the threads of the bushing so the 3/4" would slide in easily and the wife placed felt strips from a Velcro tape kit to protect the powder coat. Note that the aluminum EMT pipes each come with one of the couplings to join the pipes together, so you will have to buy an extra 3/4" and 1-1/4" coupling.
I drilled the 3/4" holes on 6" centers with two sets of holes in the 1-1/4" ... one for the adjustment, the other for attaching to the awning arm bracket.
I ordered OldCoot's brackets bare (uncoated) since other posters mentioned I would have to bend them to use on the LCI powerheaded awnings. After looking at them and only having one bolt hold the powerhead and the bracket, I dropped the brackets down from the powerhead insert so I could mount the brackets with two bolts, lock washers and nuts (of course in black).
Once I had everything cut, drilled and mocked up, I had everything powdercoated flat black including the Awnbrella brackets that I added as well ... yes, I am a perfectionist. The powdercoat actually perfectly match the awning arms ... looks like they were factory.
I finshed everything off with bright yellow straps and The Claw Tie-Down Anchors with ss spring clips.
Let me know if something is unclear or where to find some of the parts ... it took a lot of Googling to get this figured out.

Appreciate all of the posts, details, pictures, and instructions.
Am I missing a store-front or an ordering mechanism for OldCoot's brackets? I fully admit that I didn't read all 2,000+ posts here! Thanks.

Nice job Brian. I used painter poles and painted them black.
Does the Awnbrella stretch out the awning at all?

There is not a storefront per say. Just PM the Old Coot and he will respond to you. Kind of olde fashioned and does provide friendly service with 100% guarantee!

Yes, they push the awning up so rain water does not collect. Make sure you have a 2 or 3-step stool to put them up if your TH/RV is extra tall like ours.
I thought it would add extra stability to the whole "new" installation. It seems to have done that ... there were some brief, light showers and 9-10 mph winds over the weekend. All was solid as a rock.

They are called Awning Bows by Awnbrella made by LCI. They support the awning so rain water runs off. IMHO, it seems to make the awning much sturdier with the awning poles and little or no flapping.
