Then the purchase from Old Coot, (his forum name describes him accuratly) and installation on a 2011 Georgetown which has an extra tall awning covering a slide out.
Looks good and only 2 pc poles.

Ballast sir, just enough to keep me steady on the ladder. Although "steady" is kinda mis-leading, I actually did fall off the ladder ONCE while installing the first bracket and dropping the bolt in the grass. I remember counting 4 steps going up, but only 3 coming down. Hence all the Dilly Bars to help keep the swelling down, internally of course. Hard head - soft Georgetown.

I have one complete set of aluminum, unpainted awning hold down poles & brackets for sale. These will extend to 11' with 7" still in the lower tube. Will not ship, but will meet you in the Charlotte/Concord area to deliver.

Also have a few Attaching Bracket Kits left ready to ship by USPS Priority Mail.

PM for details on poles or kits.

BTW, if you plan on using your electric awning the poles are a necessity!
