Nothing to worry about, the NC state police will stop him at the border. NC has high standards as to who is allowed in the state.

Got to use my awning hold down kit this trip out. I couldn't believe the difference it made. My awning stayed very stable. This is definitely a must have addition.
Way to go Old Coot.

Update: Down to 4 white powder coated kits and a bunch of ready to paint kits left. Better get them while they last.

Kits include 2 upper pole attaching brackets, 2 ss pole pivot bolts (5/16”x2” )ss nyloc nuts, 2 hitch pins, 2 lower stow brackets, 4 pop rivets, (2) ¼” x ¾” ss bolts & ss nyloc nuts (which are the optional bolts/nuts) for the upper brackets, instructions and pole dwg sketch. Price is $75.00 for “ready to paint” kits and includes USPS Priority Mail. Powder coated kits (White) left are $90.00 including shipping. PayPal only. Just need your PP login name and current shipping address. NO POLES in the kit. Veterans, LEOs and 1st responders get a 15% discount if you let me know.

Is there a recommended distance to put the strap anchor from the pole? I was thinking I saw that a while back but haven't had luck finding the post. A friend of mine is using his kit for the first time and I wanted to let him know the distance and why.

Thanks
