That's what I'm using to freshen up the trim on my 13 year old TV. I haven't quite finished but it does appear to have good adhesion.

Looking great

Felt a little silly afterwards. They are up, painted and looking great. Thought I'd share some photos. And the second photo is what we used for the feet of the poles. The wider end of the conduit fit perfectly into the size we chose. We used 1in poles on the bottom and the wider end of the poles fit into the 1 1/4in feet we got just like Cinderella.
Great job. Like you said it must be a regional thing. Can't locate any of the feet that you used around here at all.

Question????????????

What is the best for OC'S awning mod, steel, fiberglass or aluminum poles?

And what length, those that extend to 8' or 12'?

We plan to have them powder coated so what would be best?

Sure someone here will tell you that knows better than I. But all of the ones you mentioned will work you need to go to the library here on for and find Awning pole modification tells you exactly how to make. I think the emt conduit will work best with powder coat others can tell you that. Do a search on awning poles and get more information than you need.

OC, I would take a set of poles if you can make some more, they would work great with the brackets I already got. Only 30 mins away

Keep on him asquared. He said he would never make poles again, then he was permanently closed for good, then he was only making one more set of brackets, now I see he's talking about poles again.

I might make a few, depending on price of alum tubing in FL this winter, BUT, I WILL NOT SHIP ANY OF THEM. It will be strictly for those willing to come to Concord and pick them up. No mo' shipping nightmares for this old man.

How much for shipping a set to OH? Just checking for when you decide to start shipping again.

Foot flange for PVC poles

I found this and thought it was a good solution for feet of the 1 1/4" awning poles and its readily available. It is a little pricey, $ 8.03 each plus shipping, but it is a very clean looking solution. Here is the link and an attached .pdf drawing.

When you give up all adult beverages and there is a thin layer of solidified water forming in Hattie.
