Clarification

Awning pole hold down kits DO NOT INCLUDE POLES. The kits consist of the 2 upper brackets, 2 lower(stow) brackets, 2 pole pivot bolts & nuts (stainless steel), 2 hitch pins, 4 pop rivets and instructions. Price includes USPS Priority Mail. PayPal only. Need your PayPal login name and shipping address. PM me your information and to get the price.

When I used painter poles, I put the handle end on the top using the hole in the handle for the pin. I then bought painter pads and screwed them on for the base. Works great!

That's not a bad idea! No problem fitting the handle end into the upper bracket? It looks pretty tight.

They should be stamped D&D? I got mine through Turbs. It just has a little white sticker on one upper bracket that says "A short stranger will soon enter your life with blessings to share".

Should I be concerned?

Gotcha!
