Zero, north of the border, sorry. If you have a drop in the US, be happy to oblige.

Maybe sometime tomorrow IF, I get motivated to do something tonight. Lot of pre-forming operations before forming.

OK, thanks...... but don't slow your roll. Consumers anxiously await your kits!

Funny how we alway do the easier one first....need to get back in the swing, then the more complex part is next....just seems to go better that way.

Wasn't that, the lower brackets were the last sheet loaded in the truck and the first out. Did get all the holes drilled in the upper brackets and about 1/4 of them chamfered on both sides. Have to have something to do tomorrow. Besides that, the old legs get tired easier these days and I'm just lazy!

Put everything on the floor....then lay down and work. Horse stall mats work GOOD.

Have 6 different sizes of these, from 1/4" dia to 2" dia. made specifically for chamfering holes. This one is a 3/4"

Forming top bracket

For those wanting to know how I form the upper brackets, here are some pictures. Originally the form die was on a homemade arbor press and it took 53 or 54 strokes on the jack to form one piece. Got this electric log splitter at a 35% discount at Tractor Supply. This is much easier. Can form 52 pcs in less time than it took to do 6 on the arbor press. Now if I could figure out how to cut down the 4 minutes per pc bead blasting time.

We used a cement mixer and steel shot to remove mill scale and debut edges on steel parts. Not quite bead blasting, maybe play with media using sand or aluminum oxide.

Don't think there is any change in procedure going to happen in this shop in the near or distant future.

18 more brackets to bead blast and TOWTA can start making the kits. Just have to print out the instructions and pole dwgs.
