I look into it. I'll get with OC and make sure how the shipping part works.

Maybe two manufacturers in the Midwest might be overkill.

Shipping? I can send you a pic of the box D&D shipped my bracket kit in - if that'll help.

Na. I'm more interested in how OC ships the poles. I think OC has a patent pending on pole shipping. I may try and see if he assign that to me first

It's the end. No more Old Coot awning brackets. It truly is the end of an era. A milepost. A burp in the time space continuum.

You all need to see the ingenuis way the brackets are formed
Also have thought about using telescopic sguare alum tubing for poles if I want to internaly light then up....Easier to drill then on a round pole

Glad I bought 2 sets of brackets back when he first announced his retirement. New camper has only one awning so I still have a set for our next (and hopefully last) 5R/class A.

Nothing is computerized, just old fashioned manual labor. Blanks have pilot holes already burnt, so it is just drilling the proper size holes, chamfering holes, forming, stamping and glass bead blasting. Takes about 8-10 hours to make 26 sets.

Now I may reconsider!!! I though you had a big computerized machine that I put a blank in (or Miss Cheryl put a blank in) and then I set back & smoke a Pell Mall while walking to the other end and take finished product out!!

Now you saying there manual labor??? Heck I don't even drive my tractor I'm so lazy!!! It has GPS guidance!! All that equipment OSHA approved I guess??

Russell

You won't make it as a comedian, but you can sure spread the BS. Don't know who does it better, you or Brian.

I like that forming ram fixture. Another use for the log splitter, well done.
