OC I just sent you an email for a set of your awning polls. Looks like you sold another set.

No poles available, just bracket kits for attaching your own poles.

That is a real slick statement to put on a family forum.

Will have my camera-----------

Glenn, I will have my camera to make pic's of the polish job so you can get OC to write off the $200.00. I may even get a couple owners of poles extra
for you to polish. OC will be lost for words!!!!! (I must be dreaming)

Glenn, one of our group (parking in Goshen) will be at the fairgrounds a week early to secure our spot for parking. Too bad OC will not be there,
sure will miss his OLE BUTT!

Dream on Daisy if you really think Glenn will do any polishing of anything but polishing off booze containers.

OC,

I thought we got a pic of our poles, but I was mistaken. This was taken by DH between monsoons and the poles weren't out.

Installed 2 sets of brackets and one set of polls. Lowes was out of the polls I needed for the second set. Brackets are hard to see in pictures because they are the same color as the awning support arms. Am in the process of painting the polls to match the awning arms.

Evidently the rush and demand are over. Still have 3 left. Will just put them on a shelf and store them and take them to FL next winter and get some telescoping poles from Lowes and sell the complete setup in our campgrounds. Maybe take TOWTA out to eat if we sell them.

Thanks for your patience and understanding. I do hope the fellows at UPS find a good use for the hardware and pole assembly they have.

Um...well worth it?

OC - update. Went to Lowe's last night and found the 6-12' extension poles. $14.89 each (BTW folks they are located in the paint section)

Awning kit does not seem to have excessive spare parts - I am hoping to have time to install today or tomorrow after work. thanks OC!!

Thanks, I know the attachment kits do not have missing or extra parts. TOWTA loaded the bags and re-checked them.

The pole kits in 4" pvc tubing didn't either, UPS decided to keep some parts evidently.

upper bracket does not mount flush

I started installing my awning support brackets today. I have seen pictures where the bracket is flush with the awning arm, but mine are not. I surmise that the holes were drilled in the bracket and then the tab was bent, causing the bracket to distort, therefore the base does not sit flush on the awning arm.

I will drill the 2nd hole, but the awning arm is not sturdy enough to snug down the support bracket. I was thinking of adding some sort of shim material at the bottom mounting hole.

Anybody ran across this? if so what was your solution

Loosen the original bolt, install the bottom bolt and tighten it down, then snug the top bolt. It will be fine that way. All the top bolt does is hold the motor/torsion bracket to the end of the pole.

BTW, still have 3 kits ready to ship.
