That's right! We have the rest of the year to work on him. He won't get more aluminum stock til next winter so we got time. Slow and steady! The demand will be there by then and he'll crack and give FedEx a run.

Evidently he's been "drinking the blue water" from wmtire's magic 8 ball, and thinks he can see in to the future. /snark
See wmtire 'bout that. He can tell ya it doesn't work!

You guys should know better than to argue with OC. He quotes Mark Twain in his signature to warn you.
The complete pole set you made for me in March 2013, OC, is the best mod I've installed on my trailer. The only bad thing about "kits not shipping with poles" now... is that no one else can duplicate the quality of your poles.

Thanks for the compliment, but TOWTA and I decided with the fiasco of the last batch that they were the "caboose". We are just not going to put up with the hassle of shipping them by any means. As I said before, IF I pick up material this winter, they will be picked up at our shop and I doubt anyone would drive very far to get them.

Awning pole hold down kit
I don't know about that OC. Seems they may be worth the ride. Got the brackets just really haven't seen the poles that suit me yet. I was holding out reading these posts waiting for them to wear you down little more. Lol

OC, let these frogs figure out some way to pick up these poles from NC instead of you having to figure out a way to get poles from NC to them. There's some sharp frogs out there, ball is in their court. -ray

Awning pole hold down kit
We can pony express them. Someone can pick em up from you and take them to another place where they are picked up and so on.

Did that with a couple of sets last year at Goshen. They ended up where they were supposed to go, but it wasn't here in the US of A.

X eleventy!
OC's poles look "factory". We brush finished ours, and when stowed they simply become part of the 5er.
When deployed and strapped down they make the awning(s) ...(we have two awnings)....as solid as a four walled room.
Best money we've spent yet on "wants" equipment for our RV.
wouldn't surprise me a bit to see FR start offering them as an option....told ya OC, you should patent these things!
Now if I can just talk him in to fabricating one of those king pin satellite dish mounts we'll be SET! I'm willin' to pay a pretty penny for it too! not the new pennies that are essentially worthless...the real copper kind!

This looks like a pick on OC thread. I got the brackets from him, installation was easy and got some painter polls from Lowe's. 2 sets for both awnings and everything looks and works great. Had several people stop by just to have a look. Thanks OC, don't let these on the thread get under your skin.

I think since OC ain't got a camper this year to even go to Goshen that him and Frankie should road trip around the USA kind of like door to door salesman and hock the poles!
Frankie can drive the caddie with trailer and OC in tow.
While he's making poles in the back she's making sales calls in the front.
Everybody wins.

Just intended to help a few folks out with the poles. Didn't retire to work.

Awning brackets
Hi OC, I know these posts are about the awning poles, whereas we are interested in the bracket kits...I don't know if you still have some for sale...we had contacted you about ordering some before, and our wifi went down in a storm that night and when we got back up and running, the brackets were gone...then I thought I saw you had fabricated some more, but now I can't find the posts and haven't been able to get back into private message...not sure what I'm doing wrong, just can't find it We were looking forward to getting the brackets before, so were really disappointed we missed out. If you still have bracket kits, would it be possible for you to walk me through the contact and ordering process? I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, but we would really like to get a set if at all possible.

Well, after experiencing my first ever need to roll up my awning due to wind last week, I'm thinking it might be time to finally budget for some brackets.
OC, If I remember correctly you wouldn't ship poles north of the border, how do you feel about shipping when it's just the brackets?
