May have more kits in about 2-3 weeks. Depends on some old man getting off his duff and doing something. May have to take TOWTA to Missouri to her class reunion next weeek, so that blows at least a week+. Might have some kits available by 15Sep, but no promises.

He showed Sneak how they're made...he got to watch him cut it, bend it and bead blast it there in his shop, from a sample (thin) piece of metal.

That's a lot of work, for just ONE bracket.

Don't blame ya for not wanting to do 'em all by hand, OC.

Got upper and lower brackets cut out for 26 kits. Now the cleaning, drilling, bending, bead blasting, stamping, packaging begins. Slight increase in price of the plasma cutting. Don't know if we will get any kits assembled before we leave for TOWTA's reunion in Trenton, MO or not.

Thanks for the compliment and offer of helping Glenn. IliniJoe, they will fit both the Carefree and the Dometic/A&E awnings. Probably will be at least 10 days to 2 weeks before I'll have any ready for shipping. TOWTA's reunion will eat up at least a week. Depends on how energetic I get in the next few days.

Have you considered making and selling covers for the skylight like the one you installed. I think about that every time I brush the trees in our community.

OC designed and a cover for his skylight made of pierced metal sheet. It allows light in but protects the skylight from low limbs. As I recall he secured it using roofing repair tape.
I don't know if he made the holes in the metal sheet or he purchased it that way and then bend to fit.

It is so close to our actual world today and to think it was written in 1957. Nothing fictional about it. Scary is more descriptive.

Thanks, but no thanks, the flat layout is in the library for anyone to make. Just buy a sheet of the perforated alum screen from Lowes/HD and a pr of scissors and some pop rivets.

Sure do, even after 15 months and over 6,000 miles and no screws holding it down.
