And some use ELECTRICAL PVC with a cost of less than $15, 2 10' lengths of 1" and 1 10' length of 1-1/4" with the bell cut off and then cut in 2 equal pcs of approx. 58.5" instead of the 60" specified on the dwg. Heat about 3" of the 1" with a heat gun or hair dryer and put in a vise and close to 1". Cut to the lengths specified and drill your holes per print obtained in the FRF Library.

Hands down the most cost effective and lightest weight. Painters poles will run you 5 times that and tack on another couple of pounds. I went the painter pole route just because I'm lazy and they look cool, but the PVC's will provide more than ample strength.

Nice! Don't those weight quite a bit more?

I guess if my main focus was "cost effective" I would have never bought a TT to begin with.

Everyone together now.. "money pit".

Yep. RV'ing is not cheap. In many ways it is the "lifestyles of the rich and famous".

And the first time you insert the pins the paint/primer is gone. Your neighbors don't even want to be you neighbor.

PVC poles don't need the paint/primer to keep from rusting. GEEEZE!

What is the reason you heat and close 3" of the end of the smaller tube to 1"? Fit inside one of the brackets?

Yes, you are correct, so it will fit in the upper brackets.

That's alright
Over time aluminum dulls and will oxidize and pvc will fade and get brittle
