Pictures of new lower stow bracket installed

Red Wolf has requested a picture of the new lower stow brackets installed on their awning. Would someone kindly post some?

Hope he's not trying to mount the lowers before his poles get to him? [emoji12]

The lower brackets line up with the lower holes on the poles.
No way to know where the holes will be till the poles are in hand.

The lower bracket pins into the poles to lock the poles.

If I am off, can I drill a new hole in the pole? Just a thought?

I don't know, but it shouldn't make any difference. The lower brackets should be centered on the arm and flush with the bottom of the alum or within 1/4" of the bottom. Once the brackets are installed, all that is required is letting the pole swing into the bracket and using the bracket as a template, drill the 9/32" hole completely thru the pole.

You'd have to drill a hole in each pole all the way thru and straight "upper and lower" and they have to line up in order to get the pin in.
You'd be better off moving lowers to match poles .

Have to drill thru both poles and straight thru.
If holes are off the pin won't go thru straight.
Or at all.

This was my original design with two pins.
Now I just require one pin.
But as you can see my upper doesn't go down near as far.

Now the lower sticks out only about an inch and you pin thru both poles.

His are mounted higher than mine, my brackets are 62-3/8" center to center.

Forgot, you mount yours upside down.

Mine are roughly 58- 7/16 c to c
Varies a 1/16 one way or the other so that's not gospel.

Soooooooo if there mounted that low it will work.
Just pull inner pole out and use the lower hole in that.
You just won't be pinned thru both poles.
